Anomaly Intelligence Privacy Policy

Anomaly Intelligence is an iPhone app made by Zero Point Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app records, where that information goes, and the choices you have.

In short: your recordings stay on your iPhone. We don’t collect, receive or sell your data. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

What the app records, and where it stays

When you run an investigation, the app records the following on your iPhone:

• Sound from the microphone.
• Motion and environment readings from the phone’s own sensors: movement, rotation, magnetic field and air pressure.
• What you type or tap: the investigation’s name, the room names, the site’s claims, your marks and your notes about what you heard.
• Basic session details: the time and your time zone, your iPhone model, iOS version, battery level and charging state, whether the phone appeared to be offline, the app version, and the free storage space.

All of this is stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. We don’t receive it, and we can’t see it. If you delete a session or delete the app, its recordings are deleted from your phone.

Permissions

• Microphone: to record sound during an investigation.
• Motion & Fitness: to record the phone’s motion sensors.

The app records only while an investigation is running. You can turn either permission off at any time in the iPhone Settings app, but investigations need both.

When you share an investigation

You can export an investigation as a file and send it somewhere using the iPhone share sheet: for example, to your own AI assistant, to a file storage app, or to another person. You choose the recipient each time, and the app never shares anything on its own.

Once you share a file, its recipient’s privacy policy applies to it. An export can contain room audio, so think about who you send it to.

Speech recognition

For EVP sessions, the app can suggest possible words heard in each listening window. It does this with Apple’s speech recogniser, which runs on your iPhone; the audio isn’t sent to us or to Apple for this.

If your phone doesn’t have Apple’s speech model yet, the app asks before downloading it. iOS downloads, stores and updates the model, and it’s shared with other apps on your phone. Apple’s own privacy policy covers that download.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details, name or Apple ID.

The app keeps a small record on your iPhone, in the iOS keychain, of what you’ve bought and used: for example, how many sessions you have left. This record stays on your phone and may remain there if you delete and reinstall the app, so that your remaining sessions aren’t lost.

What we don’t do

• We don’t collect, store or sell personal information.
• We don’t use advertising, analytics or tracking, and we don’t share data with data brokers.
• We don’t use your recordings to train AI models.

Children

The app isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes how it handles information, we’ll update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect. For example, that would apply to a future optional feature that stores investigations online. A feature that sends your data anywhere will always be optional and will ask first.
